Day 1: Interactive Session - Quality Governance Starts With the Platform Team

Quality Governance Starts With the Platform Team

Platform engineering is the new kid on the block and said to be “the discipline of designing and building toolchains and workflows that enable self-service capabilities for software engineering organizations in the cloud-native era”. In simpler terms, the platform team in an organisation removes obstacles so that feature teams along with business people can build features that makes money for the organisation. Quality of releases and the cost of quality still remain a major inhibitor in organisations today. How can be leverage the platform team to remove obstacles in the addressing of quality issues?

This session will share the meandering experience from the past and the current present of the speaker and may as usual, leave the attendees with more questions than answers, of their own organisations’ quality governance.
