Amol Deshpande is technology leader with 20+ years of experience, he worked with world-class organization like Persistent, Symantec & IBM. Currently working as R&D Director in BMC Software and leading the Product Experience Program at BMC. He is responsible for delivering Best-in-class User experience for BMC products with enterprise grade quality.
Amol is active member of Agile testing Alliance & Devops++ Alliance and Advisory Board member of EC-Council for CASE (Certified Application Security Engineer). He was also conference chair for ATA’s Global Testing Retreat 2020.
User experience x Quality Assurance = Usability
UX Design focuses heavily on having a deep understanding of users, what they need, what they value, their abilities, their limitations and Quality Assurance focus on a systematic way of creating an environment to ensure that the software product being developed meets the quality requirements of customers. Quality assurance impacts the overall user experience and Usability is a Quality measure for design. QA engineers and UX designers both provide feedback to ensure well-performing and intuitive products for end users. These two roles can learn a lot from each other.
